Using the knowledge and coaching experience from working alongside high level coaches and delivering Strength & Conditioning CPD courses to PTi’s of the Military and general public, Billy Hannah decided to use the 9,000 sq ft facility of Hybrid Plymouth as the HQ of the Club. He now passes on his expertise in the fields of Strength and Conditioning.
So far the club has seen athletes from all ends of the spectrum, From Crossfit Plymouth, Students of Plymouth University, to Military personnel from the Royal Marines and Army Commandos, as well as the Royal Navy.
So the future of the club is to set a base for high level coaching with the Olympic Lifts. It’s for people that encounter these movements in their program, albeit a Crossfitter looking to get more efficient or someone interested in the Sport of Weightlifting and looking to compete in the future. Plymouth Barbell will also be supporting Athletes through strength & conditioning programs and this is mainly through Billy & the WHFitness Brand. This allows extra coaching for his athletes that currently range from Tactical to swimming, Endurance to basketball.
